Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hospital mechanical equipment and systems across the campus. The role may require on-call duties and weekend or rotating shifts, with onsite work at 500 Brookline Avenue.

With at least 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience and a diploma or equivalent, you will troubleshoot HVAC systems, inspect equipment, and maintain safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2 years mechanical or electrical experience.
• Must interact with other hospital groups.
• Good working knowledge of standard hand tools and small power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hospital mechanical equipment and systems.
• Repair building operations components including belts, drives, filters, seals, motors and pumps.
• Repair HVAC systems and conduct manometer readings.
• Maintain a safe working environment in Engineering Department areas.
