Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic in Tyler, TX to ensure facility reliability and safe operation of hospital systems. You will maintain equipment across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and utilities, while supporting light construction and cleaning duties to keep the environment safe for patients, visitors, and staff.

This role requires hands-on experience with preventive maintenance, repair work, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain licensing in electrical/plumbing/HVAC preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in preventative maintenance, equipment repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or construction; healthcare experience a plus.

• Safely perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hospital systems.
