Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus Hospital is seeking a Boiler Plant Operator to monitor boilers, manage steam supply for heat and sterilization, and support facility operations.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, calibrating controls, and maintaining water treatment and chemical inventories; five years of experience and boiler operator training (or transfer within 90 days) are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years of experience.
• Boiler Operator Training required or must obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assures maximum climate control of heating, air conditioning and humidity and maintains all other related equipment.
• Inspects and repairs power plant/boiler equipment for proper operation.
• Performs preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance of related systems.
• Calibrates controls, performs air balancing, adjusts, repairs thermostats, valves, compressors, pumps and related systems.
• Maintains and repairs boilers and related domestic/heating systems.
• Maintains water treatment systems and manages chemical inventory.
