Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-year vocational school or 2-year apprenticeship or the equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in a maintenance role.
• Current Class "Special" Boilers License or ability to obtain within 6 months as required by the facility or holds a higher certification (1st/2nd class) within 18 months of hire.
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on boilers, basic HVAC systems, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment.
• Provide emergency repairs as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
• May provide general work direction within the scope of their license to assigned team members.
