Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle general and preventive maintenance on the medical campus, including pressure boilers, basic HVAC systems, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment.

The role may provide supervision within the license scope and requires a boiler license or higher within 18 months of hire. Day/evening rotations, weekend work, and comprehensive benefits support employee well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2 year vocational school or a 2-year apprenticeship program or the equivalent.
• Or 3 years of experience in a maintenance role.
• Current Class "Special" Boilers License or higher certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general and preventative maintenance on boilers, HVAC, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment.
• Position may provide general direction to assigned team members within the scope of their license.
