Essentia Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician for St. Marys Hospital in Detroit Lakes, MN. The role involves general maintenance on a medical campus, including boilers, HVAC, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment.

You may supervise teammates within your license scope and perform emergency repairs as needed. Requires a 2-year vocational/ apprenticeship and 3 years in a maintenance role; a Boiler license or higher certification is required within set

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2 year vocational school or a 2-year apprenticeship program.
• 3 years of experience in a maintenance role.
• Current Class \"Special\" Boilers License or higher certification within required timelines.
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance on medical campus systems and equipment.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on boilers, HVAC, fire safety systems, generators, and patient care equipment.
• May provide emergency repairs and supervise assigned team members within licensing scope.
