Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on hospital systems, including pressure boilers, HVAC, fire safety, generators, and patient care equipment.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair diverse mechanical and electrical systems, participate in shift rotations, and ensure safety and reliability of critical facilities on a busy medical campus.

Qualifications

• Two-year vocational/technical degree or apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Maintenance experience 3+ years or more recommended.
• Must meet driving requirements acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on hospital systems and patient care equipment.
• Respond to emergency repairs and assist with other duties as assigned.
• Maintain safety standards and document maintenance activities.
