Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital in Washington state is seeking a dedicated line cook for our hospital kitchen. You will prepare meals using established recipes, support menu development, and ensure food is produced safely and on schedule in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.
• 4 years professional line cook experience in a full-service establishment using fresh ingredients and standardized recipes.
• 2 years related food preparation experience and six months Line Cook experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food products using basic and advanced cooking techniques and follow standard recipes.
• Meet production schedules in alignment with health, safety and sanitary procedures.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work areas throughout the shift.
• Participate in recipe and menu development and showcase culinary skills and products.
• Direct customer service and contact with customers in the retail areas; take orders and expedite them in an organized and timely manner.
