Job summary

HHS is seeking friendly, compassionate team players to join the hospital cafeteria culinary team in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. The role involves dishwashing, stocking, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area to support daily hospital services.

You will handle labeling, shelving, and inventory tasks, while following health and safety guidelines and collaborating with staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom.
• Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes.
• Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift.
• Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner.
• Set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas.
• Monitor and empty trash cans.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
