Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) is seeking friendly, compassionate culinary teammates at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. Under the chef/production manager, you will prepare fresh vegetables, salads, deli items, and ice displays for the cafeteria, delivering excellent service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Full-time and part-time positions are available with day, evening, and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Cook meals and provide food service for patients, the retail cafe, and catering events at the hospital.
• Prepare salad items, dressings, relishes, and other items according to production lists.
• Prepare entrees, vegetables, breads, and desserts for the cookline.
• Follow company recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
