Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years experience in restaurant or food service preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Requisitions, inspects, prepares, cooks, cools and portions large and small quantities of foods per recipes and quality standards.
• Recommends recipe and menu adjustments to improve quality; forecasts quantities to be produced.
• Forecasts production and utilizes leftovers to minimize waste and maintain costs.
• Processes food for storage and cooling in compliance with regulatory codes.
• Labels and dates items as required and maintains organized production areas.
