Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain overall inventory, pick up and replenish supplies in assigned hospital work areas, and track information using handheld devices.

You will partner with nursing divisions to coordinate PAR items, communicate shortages and outages, and ensure timely, accurate information flow. You will also maintain shelf tag labels and comply with PHI privacy and UH policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains overall inventory and picks up and replenishes supplies in assigned hospital work areas.
• Tracks related information using handheld computers.
• Keeps supply areas neat and orderly to enable accurate counting and remove outdated supplies.
• Serves as primary customer service liaison between Material Distribution and nursing divisions regarding PAR items and maintains communications to ensure timely information flow on shortages, outages, overstock, and other inventory concerns.
• Accurately maintains shelf tag labels with pertinent item information.
