Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a Supply Chain Tech I /Shipping & Receiving LWMC to manage inventory and replenishment in hospital areas. You will use handheld computers to track information and ensure accurate counts, keeping areas neat and compliant with PHI policies.

The role requires strong communication with nursing units and may involve lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for long periods. On-the-job training includes PHI handling and equipment use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to use PCs and general office equipment.
• Experience with hand-held computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall inventory and replenish supplies in assigned hospital areas.
• Keep supply areas neat for accurate counting and removal of outdated items.
• Serve as liaison between Material Distribution and nursing units regarding PAR items and shortages.
• Maintain shelf tag labels with item information.
• Perform duties as assigned and adhere to PHI safety policies.
