Job summary

UofL Health in Louisville is seeking a Supply Chain Technician I to maintain stock levels in designated storerooms and support daily delivery of supplies to clinical areas.

You will monitor par levels, fill requisitions, label bins, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure uninterrupted patient care while complying with HIPAA and hospital protocols.

Weekend/Holiday shifts are required, and prior inventory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels.
• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to areas throughout the hospital to support quality patient care.
• Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care.
• Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits.
• Removes outdated supplies and notifies supervisor of slow-moving inventory.
• Issues and credits materials from the inventory management system.
• Responsible for labeling bins and handling requests to change pars.
• Maintains clean and orderly stock locations.
• Acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed.
• Helps in the recall process to pull relevant products as directed my supervisor.
• Assists in other duties as assigned.
• Maintains various carts used for patient care.
• Basic Premier functions.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Comply with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
