Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a specialist to support purchasing and inventory management for hospital inventory. You will handle receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, and replenishment while ensuring accurate patient charge input and effective service to end users.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of inventory experience, be able to work overtime, and perform heavy manual tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting, maintaining accuracy and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience managing a multi-product inventory (SKU) and stock procurement system.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts to meet operations.
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks.
• Strong ability to read, write and follow English instructions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and maintain pace.

Responsibilities

• Provide purchasing and inventory management support for a hospital inventory area, including receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery and par/point-of-use replenishment.
• Input patient charges as directed and work with end users to ensure a streamlined supply chain experience.
• Collaborate with departments to optimize stocking and replenishment processes.
