Job summary

UCI Health is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support purchasing and inventory management for a designated hospital supply area. The role includes receiving, distribution, replenishment, and input of patient charges, working with end users to ensure an efficient supply chain experience.

The position requires at least 1 year of inventory management experience, ability to perform heavy manual tasks, and strong English communication skills in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience managing a multi-product inventory (SKU) and stock procurement system.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and a rotating schedule.
• Capable of performing heavy manual tasks.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Effective reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain pace.

Responsibilities

• Provide purchasing and inventory management support for a hospital inventory area.
• Handle supply chain operations including receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, replenishment, and input of patient charges as directed.
• Collaborate with end users/customers to ensure an efficient supply chain experience.
• Support inventory accuracy and cycle-count activities as needed.
