Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking an inventory support role responsible for stocking, restocking, and delivering requisitioned supplies across the hospital while monitoring costs and improving efficiency.

Responsibilities include restocking par locations, processing orders by 11:00 a.m., and ensuring timely delivery to departments. Strong attention to stock levels and safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in the role preferred.
• Adherence to ICARE Standards and basic computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Restocks par locations with products ordered the same day.
• Scans each par location daily and transmits orders by 11:00 a.m.
• Charges out items from the Stat Room to the requesting department.
• Phones requests processed and delivered within 45 minutes.
• Exceptions require a follow-up call to the requesting department.
• Delivers to assigned floors.
• Assists in re-stocking Stat Room supplies as received.
• Advises Supervisor of stock-outs and changes in usage.
• Provides support to Receiving Clerk during peak times.
• Participates in annual inventory and cycle counts.
• Rotates stock and checks expiration dates.
• Maintains Stat Room in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Floor swept daily; cardboard boxes disposed.
• Contacts Supervisor or Security regarding safety issues.
• Secures overhead receiving door and back corridor door.
• Performs duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
