Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for the Main Campus within the MATERIALS MANAGEMENT department. The role ensures daily availability and replenishment of clinical supplies and medical equipment across nursing units, serving as the key liaison between floor staff and Supply Chain Management.

The position focuses on maintaining par levels, stockroom organization, and timely replenishment to support patient care, with an 8-hour day shift (7am–5pm) and full-time status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Forklift operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily availability, organization, and replenishment of clinical supplies and medical equipment within non-procedural hospital units.
• Act as liaison between floor nursing staff and Supply Chain Management to ensure stock for patient care.
• Oversee unit-level customer service, par levels, and stock rooms in Med/Surg, ICUs, EDs, and outpatient clinics.
