Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for the Main Campus Materials Management department. The role ensures daily availability and replenishment of clinical supplies and equipment within non-procedural hospital areas, acting as the primary liaison to nursing staff and Supply Chain.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred advanced degree in Supply Chain or Healthcare Administration and at least 1 year in a healthcare supply setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred
• Valid forklift operator certification preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in a Supply Chain role or healthcare supply setting

Responsibilities

• Manage daily availability, organization, and replenishment of clinical supplies and medical equipment.
• Serve as liaison between floor nursing staff and the Supply Chain Management department to ensure stock for daily patient care.
• Oversee unit-level customer service, nursing unit par levels, and hospital supply rooms in non-procedural areas.
