Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking a Coordinator of Inventory Control at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. The role supports the Director of Materials Management and ensures accurate perpetual inventories and timely purchase orders within MMIS.

The position requires strong analytical skills, PC software proficiency, and excellent communication with managers and vendors. Local travel is expected and a day shift, full-time schedule is offered.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher; bachelor’s preferred in a related field.
  • Must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license and state minimum insurance coverage.
  • Driving record must meet Covenant Health standards at time of hire and during employment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all inventory control functions for perpetual inventories.
  • Organize, conduct, and report routine cycle counts.
  • Ensure accuracy of the Materials Management inventory and annual turnover goals.
  • Prepare purchase orders within policy guidelines using MMIS.
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and staff via phone or email.
