Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Inventory Operations at Montgomery Surgical Center. Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing, Finance, or Business; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in Purchasing or Surgery with vendor knowledge.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Specialized training as Buyer, Purchasing Agent, or Circulator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate orders, receiving, storage, and inventory monitoring of med/surg supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with leadership, Materials Management, and vendors to limit excess inventory.
• Identify slow-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.
• Create reports on stock levels and financial performance.
• Coordinate logistics with facilities and vendor relations for pricing and new technology.
• Coordinate in-service for equipment/products and maintain inventory integrity in the system.
• Handle additional duties within scope as assigned.
