Qualifications

• 2 years insurance verification or registration experience in a hospital or physician office.
• Knowledge of medical insurance and billing requirements.
• Proficient in Flowcast, HQ, eCAOS, MISYS, Spheris.
• Knowledge of state and federal medical assistance and health services programs preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct interviews with patients and families to verify insurance coverage and obtain benefit information.
• Obtain pre-certification information and make referrals to financial assistance services when coverage is less than 100%.
• Assist patients with medical coverage details and coordinate scheduling and administrative duties as needed.
• Support front desk operations and ensure accurate documentation of insurance information.
