Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC, refrigeration, and steam systems in a hospital environment. You will work with a team of technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance with codes.

The role involves diagnosing equipment issues, calibrating controls, and leading by example while supporting CBRE RISE values in daily operations.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining HVAC, refrigeration, steam, and central plant systems.
Ability to respond to emergency service calls and participate in on-call rotations.
Demonstrated teamwork across trades (HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians).

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, steam, and central plant equipment.
Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation with a team of technicians.
Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
Install and calibrate control systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
Inspect equipment for proper operation and code compliance.
Troubleshoot failures and propose modifications.
Share knowledge and coach others.
Model CBRE RISE values and build consensus.
Impact customer, operations, projects within teams.
Explain difficult information.
