Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain and optimize critical building systems in a Monday–Friday day schedule. You will support the performance, reliability, and efficiency of HVAC and mechanical equipment, contributing to safe and comfortable environments for occupants.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required with 4–5 years of job-related experience; combination of experience and education considered.
EPA Certification is required.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Inspect and troubleshoot chillers, compressors, and associated cooling components.
Service exhaust fans, air distribution systems, and air handling equipment to maintain proper airflow and conditions.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using testing equipment and established procedures.
Conduct routine inspections, adjustments, and repairs on HVAC equipment to minimize downtime.
Install and maintain control systems for HVAC/R equipment, including calibration of instruments and gauges.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and propose effective modifications.
Share knowledge and mentor others in related disciplines.
