Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to support hospital building systems by performing preventative maintenance and routine inspections on air conditioning units, refrigeration, cooling towers, BAS, and related equipment. You will diagnose issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime in a hospital setting.

The role requires EPA Universal Certification, 4+ years of experience in large environments, and hospital experience.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in commercial or large residential environments.
EPA Universal Certification.
Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls/BAS systems.
High School Diploma or GED + HVAC trade school or equivalent training.
Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Experience with cooling towers, water treatment systems, or advanced BAS platforms.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on HVAC and building systems.
Diagnose system issues and complete timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Support cooling tower operations and water treatment processes.
Monitor and adjust BAS to ensure proper temperature, airflow, and efficiency.
Respond to work orders and urgent maintenance requests.
Document completed work and communicate updates to leadership.
Ensure all tasks comply with hospital safety standards and regulatory requirements.
