Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 45 years in related work.
• EPA Refrigerant Certification (required or ability to obtain).
• Capable of stooping, standing, walking, stairs, and lifting 50 lbs+.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
• Strong math skills including percentages and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, steam, and central plant equipment.
• Respond to emergency service calls and participate in an on-call rotation with HVAC team.
• Assign tasks to team members; ensure timely completion.
• Install, repair, calibrate control systems for HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect building HVAC equipment for proper operation and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best modification approach.
• Share knowledge and coach others; lead by example.
• Support CBRE RI SE values and build consensus across teams.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information clearly.
