Job summary

Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie, WY is seeking an HR professional to coordinate onboarding, manage records, and support licensing and competency tracking. You will work with HR and Education, ensure compliance with employment laws, and back up the HR team as needed.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (preferred) and may favor HR certification. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR related field preferred.
• Experience in HR and hospital setting preferred.
• Certification in HR (PHR/SHRM-CP) preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws and confidentiality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation activities.
• Audit and manage departmental electronic records and paper files.
• Maintain licenses and required employee competencies.
• Coordinate competency based orientation throughout the organization.
• Generate monthly HR/education reports for internal use.
• Assist HR Specialist with new hire processing and background checks.
• Support HR & Education leadership and committees as needed.
• Back up HR & Education Coordinator as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
