Job summary

Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie, Wyoming, is seeking a detail‑oriented HR Onboarding Coordinator to help manage orientation for new employees, maintain electronic records, and verify licensure and certifications across the organization. You will prepare monthly reports, assist with benefits guidance, and support HR and Education leadership while upholding confidentiality and compliance.

A Bachelor's in HR or related field is preferred, with HR certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources related field preferred.
• Certification in HR (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new employee orientation process and onboarding activities.
• Accurately manage and audit departmental electronic records, reports and paper files.
• Maintain license and skills records and communicate requirements to staff and management.
• Coordinate competency based orientation (CBO) across the organization.
• Generate monthly reports for internal and external use.
• Provide guidance to staff regarding benefits.
• Assist HR Specialist with new hire processing including background checks and I-9/Education verifications.
• Support HR and Education Department, Senior Leadership and Department Leaders.
• Serve on in-house committees and back up HR & Education Coordinator.

Education
