Job summary

Monroe Hospital in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support the HR Director/Manager with day-to-day operations and provide broad HR support across the organization.

The HRBP will handle onboarding, employee/leader development, employee/labor relations, and legal compliance, acting as a strategic partner to hospital leadership to align HR initiatives with hospital goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or closely related field.
PHR, SPHR or relevant HR certifications or advanced degree preferred.
5 years’ experience in Human Resources with focus on employee relations and/or labor relations preferred.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining processes.
Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities with attention to detail.
Computer knowledge that includes Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

Assist HR Director/Manager with day-to-day operations and provide HR support across the organization.
Support onboarding, employee/leader development, employee/labor relations, and legal compliance.
Serve as a strategic partner to hospital leadership and guide HR initiatives with department heads.
Assist with disputes, investigations/grievances and recommend resolution or disciplinary actions.
