Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is hiring a Guest Services Associate for the Lutheran General Hospital campus. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 2:30pm-11pm schedule and rotating weekends.

You will greet visitors, provide directions, and coordinate patient transport and related services to support a smooth patient experience. Applicants should have a High School diploma and 1-3 years of customer service, preferably in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School education; 1-3 yrs customer service, hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and a positive attitude.
• Ability to anticipate patient, employee, and unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet all hospital guests and provide directions and information.
• Escort patients and visitors; assist into/out of wheelchairs when needed.
• Coordinate patient transport, shuttle, courier services, and valet tasks.
• Support Public Safety and Volunteer coordination as needed.
