Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Part-time Guest Relations Representative for the Emergency Department. This on-site role requires 24 hours per week, with rotating day, evening, and night shifts across three 8-hour shifts.

You will greet patients and families, verify registrations, escort guests, and address concerns to ensure a smooth, compassionate patient experience. Strong customer service and healthcare exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year of Customer Service experience is required.
• Excellent Customer Service skills are strongly preferred.
• Previous healthcare/hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors to provide a welcoming environment.
• Verify patient registration and escort to destinations as needed.
• Respond to requests promptly and communicate with hospital staff.
• Assist in collecting data and identifying patient and family needs.
• Prepare reports and documentation for services provided.
