Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Baltimore is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain hospital grounds and assist with meeting setups and office moves. Strong emphasis on lawn care, debris removal, and safe operation of all grounds equipment will be required.

This role supports operations across the campus, including routine outdoor maintenance and weather-related tasks. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (preference given), basic computer skills, and experience with preventative maintenance

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to train in specified computer system and programs.
• Engage with staff and patients in a professional manner.
• Able to use and operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Mows lawn and trims shrubbery/trees.
• Removes snow and ice from sidewalks, steps, and entrances using shovel and salt.
• Rakes, collects, and disposes of leaves and dispose of leaves from grounds.
• Cleans and removes debris from storm drains and grates throughout the entire property.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed, as well as assisting with other plant operations, when dictated by workload or during inclement weather.
• Other duties as assigned
