Job summary

Responsibilities

• Keep exterior entrances clean daily and remove trash and debris.
• Maintain hospital grounds, building exteriors and roof areas free of trash.
• Remove snow and ice from entrances, parking lots and sidewalks.
• Aerate, fertilize, mow and trim turf, maintain ornamentals and gardens.
• Operate and repair fountains; maintain equipment and tools for proper function.
• Maintain mowers and related equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain records, reports and budget information for review.
• Assist Maintenance Manager with contract negotiations for grounds and snow removal.
• Balance grounds duties with building maintenance and support operations as needed.
• Maintain hospital vehicle fleet and ensure cleanliness.
