Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, VA is seeking a Gift Shop Clerk for Volunteer Services. This per diem role supports day-to-day gift shop operations, handles cash and credit card sales with the TAM POS, and assists customers with requests in a fast and courteous manner.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the shop, restocking, pricing, wrapping gifts, processing phone orders, and maintaining a neat stockroom.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five years of retail experience is preferred.
• Must communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operations of the Gift Shop.
• Manage cash and credit card transactions and reconcile daily receipts.
• Open and close the gift shop as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer requests and complaints.
