Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a gift shop associate for both MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. This Per Diem role requires providing friendly customer service, assisting shoppers, and operating the cash register. Availability includes weekday and weekend hours.

Daily duties include merchandise stocking, basic POS usage, and ensuring shop security. Previous cash handling and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years customer service experience.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise.
• Operate cash register and handle payments.
• Restock drinks, candy, snacks, and merchandise on assigned shift.
• Maintain shop security and reconcile daily deposits.
• May use POS system to input inventory and pricing.
