Lori's Gifts, a hospital gift shop retailer, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a compassionate retail team and ensure guest experiences reflect integrity, empathy, and excellence.

You will oversee daily operations, support merchandising, handle transactions, assist with scheduling, training, and coaching, and uphold policies. The role requires a high school diploma, retail or service experience, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth and attentiveness.
• Maintain merchandising standards and support sales growth.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
• Follow visual merchandising and promotional guidelines.
• Uphold operational procedures and company policies.
• Accurately process transactions using POS systems; may handle bank deposits.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and coaching team members.
• Independently open and close the store.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
