Job summary

Lori’s Gifts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its hospital gift shop location. You will help lead a compassionate retail team, ensure guest experiences reflect integrity, empathy, and excellence, and help drive sales through strong customer service and merchandising.

The role requires at least one year in retail or customer service with supervisory potential, the ability to lift 30 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth and attentiveness.
• Maintain merchandising standards and support sales growth.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
• Follow visual merchandising and promotional guidelines.
• Uphold operational procedures and company policies.
• Accurately process transactions using POS systems; may handle bank deposits.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and coaching team members.
• Independently open and close the store.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
