Job summary

Mercy seeks a Hospital Food Service Supervisor to coordinate operations across the kitchen, cafeteria, Patient Call Center and Patient Room Service, under Food Services management. You’ll plan, organize and staff the department while upholding Mercy Service Standards and patient-focused care.

Requirements include high school diploma (or 2+ years lead experience), and Washington certifications: Serve Safe Manager within 90 days and CDM if possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; in lieu of education, at least 2 years of lead or leadership experience may be considered.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Washington CDM certification preferred; Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department development and assist planning, organizing, staffing and supporting the direction of operations and personnel in the kitchen, cafeteria, catering, Patient Call Center and Patient Room Service.
• Perform duties aligned with Mercy mission, values and Mercy Service Standards while supervising staff.
