Job summary

Mercy seeks a Hospital Food Service Supervisor to assist in coordinating development across Food and Nutrition Services, including kitchen, cafeteria, catering, Patient Call Center and Patient Room Service. You will plan, organize, staff and support operations under Food Services management.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred) and at least 2 years lead experience; Serve Safe Manager certification within 90 days by location, with CDM in WA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of lead/leadership experience may substitute.
• Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire (by location).
• Preferred: Associate degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of the department and support the direction of operations and personnel in the kitchen, cafeteria, catering, Patient Call Center and Patient Room Service.
• Plan, organize and staff Food and Nutrition Services under supervision of Food Services management.
• Ensure consistent Mercy Service Standards and collaboration with leadership across departments.
