Allegheny Health Network is seeking a dedicated food service worker to prepare and serve meals to patients, staff and visitors in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will maintain sanitation, follow safety guidelines, and support daily catering operations.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, portioning, managing patient meals, interacting with customers, and assisting with cashier or transport duties as needed. Prior food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in food services preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and serves meals to patients, employees, visitors, and catering customers.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Utilizes proper food handling, portioning and storage techniques according to standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintains and stocks adequate levels of food items, products and supplies.
• Performs cleaning functions and adheres to safety and infection control guidelines.
• Interacts with patients, visitors and employees to ensure continuity of service.
• Assists with cashier and/or catering functions and cart transport when needed.
