Job summary

Responsibilities include preparing a variety of hot and cold items, proper storage and rotation of inventory, and performing routine cleaning to maintain compliance with HIPAA-like privacy and healthcare standards. This is a full-time hospital support role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required; six months to one year of related experience preferred.
• ACHD or Serve Safe Certification preferred.
• Must follow food handling and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and produces hot and cold food items for patients and service areas according to standards (60%).
• Uses proper food handling and storage techniques during receiving, rotating, storing, and preparing food (20%).
• Performs cleaning in assigned areas following schedules and using required chemicals; adheres to safety and infection control guidelines (10%).
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards per policies and regulatory requirements (10%).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
