Job summary

Trinity Health's Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a part-time Food Service Cashier to ring meals quickly and accurately while delivering friendly service in the cafeteria. Responsibilities include collecting money, preparing and displaying food, maintaining equipment sanitation, restocking items, and performing related duties as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, English literacy, basic arithmetic, and the ability to handle patron

Qualifications

• Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to add and subtract numbers.
• Ability to handle patron complaints with respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting money for food sold in the cafeteria.
• To prepare and display food for sale in the cafeteria.
• To maintain sanitation of all equipment within the cafeteria.
• Restocking all retail items as needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
