Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a part-time Food Service Cashier for Holy Cross Hospital. You will ring meals quickly on the cash register and deliver friendly customer service in the Food & Nutrition Department.

Responsibilities include taking payments, preparing and displaying cafeteria items, keeping equipment clean, restocking products, and performing other duties as assigned. Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent and basic math and English skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent, or 4 years related experience.
• English reading, writing, and spoken fluency required.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Collect money for cafeteria sales.
• Prepare and display food for sale in the cafeteria.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment in the cafeteria.
• Restock all retail items as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
