Responsibilities

• Assembles prepared food on trays for general and therapeutic diets; prepares special therapeutic nourishments and snacks.
• Maintains tray line in a clean, neat and orderly manner.
• Delivers food to patient floors and returns trucks to dish room as scheduled.
• Tends and loads dish machines and may wash pots and pans by hand.
• Delivers clean dishes and utensils to proper kitchen unit.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and storage spaces; mops floors as assigned.
• Transports food and supplies between locations; disposes of trash as directed.
