Rockford Center in Newark, DE is seeking an Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeper/Floor Tech for a full-time 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift. You will maintain a clean, healthy, and pleasant environment for patients, staff and visitors, including specialized floor care.

The role involves cleaning floors in patient and non-patient areas, general housekeeping, moving furniture, removing trash, making beds, stocking supplies and ensuring bathrooms are clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Two years of related hospital housekeeping experience.
• Experience with floor care, stripping, waxing and buffing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors in patient and non-patient areas using proper supplies and equipment.
• Maintain facility and furnishings in clean, orderly fashion, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing and carpet cleaning.
• Move furniture when necessary.
• Remove trash and waste from designated areas of facility.
• Make beds and replace linens, placing in designated storage area for laundering.
• Dust furniture, clean windows, and keep bathrooms clean and supplies replenished.
