Job summary

Rockford Center in Newark, DE is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeper/Floor Tech for a full-time role from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will help maintain a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors, with emphasis on floor care and general housekeeping.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors in patient and non-patient areas, maintaining furnishings, moving furniture, removing trash, making beds and replenishing supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related hospital cleaning experience preferred; knowledge of hospital cleaning and floor care.

Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full complement of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children and adolescents, adults, and older adults. Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, offers an experienced and tenured senior management team, and serves New Castle County and northern Maryland.

Position Summary

In this rewarding role, you will ensure the maintenance of a clean, healthy, and pleasant environment for patients, staff, and visitors, including specialized floor care and maintenance.
