Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health is hiring a Hospital Maintenance Technician to support St. Louis region hospitals. You will oversee facility repairs, preventive maintenance, and medical equipment care while coordinating with managers and field leaders to ensure timely service.

The role requires construction/maintenance experience, knowledge of building trades, and the ability to travel as needed. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of construction or maintenance experience required.
• Experience with building construction terms, blueprints, electrical, plumbing, casework, and general building construction.
• Experience with power tools, electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, cabinetry, laminate, vinyl tile (VCT) and ceramic flooring installation and repair.

Responsibilities

• Live Mars Five Principles in daily work.
• Identify, manage, and schedule facility repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Perform painting, cabinetry, drywall, plumbing, electrical repairs and lighting maintenance.
• Manage in-house maintenance work orders and coordinate with hospitals and managers.
• Inspect and report facility damages, repairs, and construction variances.
• Source and manage painting contractors and regional maintenance programs.
