Job summary

Avera is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician at the Holy Family Hospital in Estherville. The role focuses on inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure a safe, efficient facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform building inspections, replace parts, clean, and oversee heating and plumbing, grounds, landscaping, and snow removal.
• Perform basic carpentry and maintenance including painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Repair and maintain machines and equipment on a scheduled basis or as requested.
• Monitor, inspect, repair, test, and clean equipment and systems delivering steam or chilled water.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and maintain service logs.
