Rochester Regional Health is seeking a skilled painter for Rochester General Hospital to perform interior and exterior surface restoration across the facility, ensuring high-quality finishes and compliance with safety standards.

The position requires a minimum of five years of painting experience with a focus on finish work and broad knowledge of surface preparation. You will coordinate with facilities leaders, plan tasks, and maintain records and logs as part of daily operations.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years of painting experience with finish work.
• Experience in all areas of painting and surface preparation.

Aufgaben

• Plan, coordinate, schedule, and perform painting work via the work request system.
• Coordinate with facilities leaders to plan, prioritize restoration work.
• Perform restoration and minor construction work (flooring installations, ceiling tile/grid replacements, wall finish work such as wallpaper) and equipment installation.
• Communicate updates to facilities leaders and customers regarding task status and schedule changes.
• Utilize tools such as paint mixer, power drills/saws, paint sprayer equipment, power washer and other tools to complete tasks safely and professionally.
• Read and understand OEM manuals and product data sheets to apply finishes safely and in compliance.
• Adhere to safety regulations and regulatory programs; report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain logs, records, and documentation of work performed and training received.
