Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Maintenance Painter to prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces while upholding a safe and compliant healthcare environment. Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; commercial painting preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a healthcare environment.
• Experience painting interior/exterior surfaces in a hospital setting is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking and priming walls, ceilings, doors and trim.
• Apply paints, coatings, varnishes, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment as appropriate.
• Protect patients, staff, equipment and furnishings with containment, masking and dust control.
• Maintain OSHA, EPA and Joint Commission safety requirements and dispose of hazardous materials per regulations.
• Coordinate work schedules to minimize disruption, including evenings, nights or weekends when required.
